Spotted Giraffe

Cashier broke my item while cashing me out. Told me to glue the item together. I requested a discount on the item for my trouble. Was told the item was already discounted. I responded that the discount was for items that aren't broken. Cashier VERY RELUCTANTLY offered and additional 10% for the now broken item. Her reluctance and obvious frustration surprised me considering she broke the item while packaging it, so I noted that it isn't unusual to request a discount for broken merchandise. I was told I didn't need to point that out to her and that the owner of the store wouldn't have offered me anything. I thanked her for her assistance and left the store without purchasing anything. I will not return.
