        If I Were the Lunch Lady......

        Well, let's just say.....we won't be back. This was the 2nd time in a year that we went to the Cracker Barrell in Wichita Falls, Texas. What made me decide to give it a second chance was the fantastic experience we had at the Cracker Barrell in Denton, Texas the weekend before. My son, husband and I were out making weekend rounds and were looking forward to having a lovely hot breakfast at Cracker Barrell. We were seated fairly quickly because there wasn't that much traffic (a good sign, we thought). We got our water in a timely fashion, and our orders were taken. I didn't, however, get ANY coffee for about 25 minutes. We were there 52 minutes, FIFTY-TWO minutes and never got our food. Our waters were never refilled, the waitress didn't bother to say anything about WHY the food wasn't there. I told her if it didn't come out next we would be leaving. When she proceeded to bring another table more of their food, we got up and left. By that time, it was 11:15. We decided to go to El Chico's on SW PKWY. Withing 8 minutes, we had our drink orders, queso, hot sauce, chips, and within 15 minutes - our food order!



        I will NEVER go back to the Cracker Barrell in Wichita Falls. It has terrible service.
