Provided by SuperpagesMy family went here to celebrate my birthday. It was quite a disappointment. First, they cannot seat large parties together. While my son-in-law thought his bacon cheeseburger was the best he had eaten, most of the rest of us were disappointed. My daughter and I got steak and found it exceptionally dry. My nephew got ribs, which I tried and nearly choked on because they were so dry. My sister got the pulled pork which she, also, found very dry. The bread was good and the sides ok, but, all in all, very disappointing. I have been to a roadhouse in Washington state and loved it. Won't go back to this one.

Provided by SuperpagesFor a chain, the Texas Roadhouse is a good place to eat. Food is always good, and service is for the most part is good. I have had to wait 45 minutes for the meal to arrive when everyone around me sat later and finish before my food arrived. Other times, I have waited with a party of 6 for a table for over an hour while others in parties of 7 and 8 were seated. But overall, my experience has been very good. The atmosphere is much nicer now that smoking is not allowed anywhere in the facility.

Perhaps we went on a really bad night - that's the only reason I can think of that a restaurant as bad as the one we experienced is still operating. Our food took well over 45 minutes to get to us, and when we got it, it was only half cooked. Steak might be meant to be rare, but chicken certainly isn't. Our service was so bad (or really so non existant) that I had to go up to the front greeter to find someone to tell that the food was half cooked. At this point, I gave up. I asked for someone in charge. After some flustered looking around, somone identifued themselves as being in charge, and I told them about our experience and showed them our meal. All I got was an "I'm sorry about that, we're not usually this bad". Suffice to say, I have no desire to find out whether that was true or not.
