check your cc receipt before you sign! Was given a receipt to sign with a much larger amount on it (9/15). We were told it was fixed by the waitress and either the owner/manager. cc statement showed up with extra charge still there! Husband went personally down to have it fixed. Was told that it would be. 2 weeks later called and was told oops we will work on that. Now almost a month later still no credit given. Dealing with cc company now. Ridiculous! We enjoyed our food but won't go back because of this.

Great Pizza

Our long awaited search for a delicious thin crust pizza had finally happened! Had dinner with a party if 6 in Sat night. Incredibly fast service. My husband and I recently returned from Nsples, Italy..the birthplace of pizza. There we had the best pizza pie we have ever had. We eat A LOT of pizza! Clemenza's is a close 2nd to the pizza we had in Italy! Great atmosphere. Only negative was that there was no AC. It was very warm until the sun went down.

Great dinner

We went down on saturday night and found clemenzas to be a perfect spot for dinner ... Right in Westfield !!! Cold beer , a large salad and before we knew it... Hot pizza! We tried one each if the house and white pizza , and we finished them off and ordered more( there were 6 if us ) the crust was well baked, toppings were fresh and plentiful . I will definitely be back , there are lots more combinations to try.

Extremely disappointed. We had to wait for 1.20 hr for a small pizza. The hostess was OK but definitely the place is not ready to start business. The waiters kept walking around trying to find something to do. A couple by our side arrived before us, waited longer because they baked the wrong pizza for them. The waitress returned the pizza back and after a long time she brought a plate of salad as a compliment for the long time and the mistake. Finally after a long time she brought their pizza but it was raw. Our pizza had no flavor, super thin crust, very blend and expensive for the size of the pizza.

I found the place too dark and unfinished. I won't return back and won't recommend this place to anyone.

It should not be mandatory to rate the sites with the minnimum of one star. Against my wish, here it is.

They received on star because this site will not allow me to put in less than one! Consider this a -1 star.

Save your money & patience. Go somewhere else.

The wait for a pizza was 1 hour 20 minutes and the pizza was bland! One would think that a pizza might have a hint of garlic - mine did not!

By the time that we ate and the waitress gave us our check, we walked up to the waitress to pay, since we did not feel like waiting another hour for her to take my money.

It's too bad, because the place looks nice, but in this case, looks are very deceiving.

I will not return to this Clemenza's

Tried Clemenza's tonight in Westfield, MA - Heard it was great. I was very disappointed in the service and the long wait. After waiting 35 min for our small hamburger and cheese thin crust brick oven pizza. we found it to not be fully cooked - The first 1.5 inches of the pizza was cooked and the rest was raw dough. The same with the people next to us. The waitress was told it was not cooked and she took the pizza and came back to tell us they were remaking it. It took another 25 min to get the pizza with half of the hamburger that was originally on the first one and to find when we got home that the pizza was not cooked in the center. Additionally we were overcharged by three dollars. We asked the female manager if they make their own dough and she looked at me blankly and said I do not know. My wife observed them taking the dough out of bags with labels on them stating pizza dough. For a place that had an oven sent over from Italy, I would imagine they would make their own pizza dough. Maybe they should have waited another week to open and try to learn how to use their oven as the manager said they were still trying to figure out how the oven worked and still training their cooks. They do not deserve any stars, but this site requires a atleast one star - I will never go back. You cannot pay me to go here. Go somewhere else to eat.

After a very long wait, due to the ineptitude of the City of Westfield, Clemenza's Brick Oven Pizza is finally open. I went yesterday, on their opening day, and the place was packed. I will give them the benefit of it being their first official day open to business, because I had to wait more than 30 minutes for a small cheese pizza, but the wait was so worth it.

When I got there with a friend of mine, we were immediately greeted by a waitress, who told us that we could sit wherever we wanted, which was fine by me, since I only wanted a small cheese pizza, what I always get when I go to a new pizza place for the first time. I gotta admit that the bar was nice, although a little filthy with pizza crumbs from the previous patrons, but I didn't mind. While I was waiting for my pie to be baked, I got the chance to look at the nice variety of beer and wine that the have. I also got to talk to a very friendly waitress, who got to describe me the menu, and answered all of my questions.

Fast forward to the pizza at home. When I opened the box, it looked very tiny, and I got kind of upset for it being such a small pizza. Boy, was I wrong. Looks can be deceiving sometimes. This small cheese pizza was more than enough for my wife and I, and we can eat a lot. The first impression was how complemented were the flavors of the sauce, the cheese and the thin crust. It was very crispy, slightly burned, which I love, and very delicious. My wife and I devoured that pizza in less than 10 minutes, and wanted more, not because we were left hungry, but because it was one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten, and we have been to lots of places.

If you wanna try the pizza from Clemenza's, I would seriously suggest you call in advance, tell the person who answers the phone that you will eat there, because you WILL wait. But while you wait, you can get to meet the personnel, and the very friendly owner, who is italian, so you know you are eating legitimate italian cuisine. I wanna go again, just by writing this. Oh, and the parking can be also difficult; I would suggest you park on the parking lot right behind the Bank of America (the devil), which has lots of space. After you're done with this delicacy, take a walk on the renewed Green area, enjoy the fountain, the view, and support local.
