Denton's Catfish Cay

I've eaten at Dentons four times now and have never been disappointed. I love the catfish and the fish tacos. The cole slaw is homemade and delicious. Last night we took a large group of family and friends and everyone raved about their food. The chicken fried steak was almost as big a hit as the catfish. You could easily cut it with a fork. I highly recommend Denton's. It is definitely worth dodging the highway construction!

The catfish was excellent. Fried crispy and not fishy tasting. The hushpuppies and fries were good and the cole slaw tasted homemade. It was our first visit there and will definitely go back.

I,ve been to many different family owned and operated restaurants but never have I seen one so clean nor experienced more friendlier service than at Denton's.The food couldn't be better and you get more than what you pay for.

We would drive a hundred miles to eat at this restaurant , very friendly owners and the home style cooking is excelant ! Just try it once and you will be hooked. We can't wait to eat there again!!!

We ate here this week. Best catfish we've had anywhere. Huge portions and large filets that were crispy and not fishy or greasy/oily at all. Generous helpings of hushpuppies that are addictive. Cole slaw that it's too wet or creamy and fries. Also is BYOB.

This building has been a lot of restaurants, hope this one gains business by word of mouth and increases their presence to they stick around. Cheap prices, great food, huge helpings!

I must say that their fried catfish is probably the best I have ever eaten. The portions are large and the price is very reasonable. Other members of my family ordered the hamburger plate and the chicken friend steak. Everybody raved about their meal, and that is not very common with the picky eaters in my family. Both the dining room and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the service was outstanding. They earned every bit of the 5 stars I gave them. We throoughly enjoyed our visit, and we will be going back soon.

Went to eat at this place on Dec. 28th, 2011 and was absolutely delicious. There was a party of 6 of us and food delivered promptly. We had a shrimp plate that had excellent reviews, chicken fried steak plate was delicious, 3 people got the catfish plate and was really really good and crust was cooked to perfection, and another had cod and said very good. Prices are very reasonable and the owners make sure you are satisfied. I definitely say to try this place cause you will love it!!!!!!!

Best Catfish and Shrimp in Texas, My husbands Chicken Fried Steak was delicous and tender enough to cut with a fork .yum!
