        After reading negative reviews...

        After reading negative reviews about Maynard Mgmt, I was very hesitant to do business with them and stated as much during our first walk-through. We rented with them and called two days later to say that one of the bedroom carpets had a terrible urine smell. Within a week, the carpet in that room was replaced and other repairs were completed. Maynard's office staff are SUPER NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. They have an online payment option and gave full disclosure on our rental. So far, I'm thrilled and have no reason to think that this will change. I do appreciate the other reviews since they inspired me to video the walk through and make sure that EVERY ding and scuff were recorded if not addressed. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

        Terrible Industry

        I am one of many people who rented a house for this company. They will keep your deposit. Before we were able to rent the house the pipes in it broke and flooded it. Instead of replacing the carpet they took it out a dried it all including the pads. Then they let us move in and claimed that they replaced everything. When we moved out they claimed that we ruined the carpet when "we" flooded it. I talked to other people who have rented from him and they have told me same stories. Don't trust these people because they will rip you off.

        I just found this negative review of our business. Nichols_368 did not have a flood issue at move out but a pet odor issue. Despite professional opinions and labor to correct the problem he still received his full deposit plus a small rent credit he was carrying after move out. It did take longer than anticipated to identify and resolve the source of the pet smells thereby requiring us to give a full refund rather than make the appropriate deductions. Too bad the Yellow Pages system does not notify the reviewed when one comes in so that responses can be made more timely. Thank you PioneerRenter! Feedback from many of our past residents is they would like to stay with our management services if they could.
