Dental Examination

Teeth Cleaning
Your first experience at Dental Associates, PC is estimated to be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Reserving this time for you allows our team at Dental Associates the opportunity to get to the whole picture of your health and dental history, as well as your dental goals. Your first appointment will include paperwork, a series of dental images including x rays, which allow for proper accurate diagnosis, periodontal probing with documentation, oral cancer screening exam, visual examination, diagnostic and treatment recommendations with your dentist. If time allows, your dental hygienist will perform a professional dental cleaning.
Fluoride Treatment
From cleanings to fluoride treatments, you will receive the tools you need to prevent gum disease and cavities with Dental Associates.
Dental Sealants

Our first goal, for all our patients at Dental Associates PC in Des Moines, is to take appropriate measures to save the tooth. Others may be due to advanced periodontal disease or may have broken in a way that it cannot be repaired.

Invisalign Orthodontics
In his 30 years at Dental Associates, Dr. Quick continues to expand his knowledge and learning by leading a Dental Study Club that meets monthly and attending continuing education workshops that help deliver more predictable outcomes for more difficult cases. He most recently completed courses in Anterior Restorative Design and Restoring the Worn Dentition with Spear Education. In addition, Dr. Quick and his team at the new Grimes location are able to deliver same day crowns using CEREC technology and have the ability to use digital scanning to offer Invisalign therapy to patients.
Braces
Clear aligners have become very popular with adults as they are the clear alternative to metal braces. Because they are virtually invisible, they are cosmetically more appealing for adults in improving their smile.
