Kaufman Eye Institute

This is a report about my multiple experiences with the Kaufman Eye Institute with offices in Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills Florida. I spent over $700 on eyeglasses that are unwearable and Kaufman Eye center has offered me no resolve. They were extremely rude and insulting. They were unable to make my eye glass prescriptions correctly and refused to acknowledge third party analysis that confirmed this. Never have I experienced such incompetence and rudeness from an eye glass place. I do NOT recommend The Kaufman Eye Center for eye exams or eye wear.

Dr. Jonathan Kaufman and his staff were very friendly. He seemed very knowledgeable. I would recommend him.

I went to Kauffman Eye for a second opinion for LASIK but I never told him it was a second opinion. I was told I could have the surgery by another doctor. Dr. Kauffman told me my eye was too thin. He told me that if I go to enough doctors, some will do it but that he would not recommend it.

I would recommend this place.

I came in for a routine eye examination. Dr. Kaufman found out that I had glaucoma and later treated me with laser surgery. Now I do not need any eye drops to help treat my glaucoma. I received great glasses that I must say are very stylish and thankfully my eye sight has actually been improved to the best vision I have EVER had in my life. I highly recommend this practice and specifically Dr. Kaufman.

I had a new patient appointment today and the service provided was amazing. The staff was professional and helpful from scheduling my appointment, signing in and with my initial exam prior to meeting Dr. Parker. Dr. Parker took the time to re-exam my eyes, educate me on my eye disorder, the test that will be run (and why) and the different solutions available to assist in correcting my problem. I have scheduled my follow up which was simple and convenient because they have availability on the weekends without having to schedule so far out in the month.

I will not be returning to Kaufman Eye Institute. Although I was happy with the doctor, the staff was condescending and rude to me. They provided me with incorrect information about their policies and procedures, and they gave me a hard time when I cancelled and order before it was processed and requested a refund.
