Td bank in weaverville nc steals from people and when confronted tries to justify it to make it look legit! I am very careful about my spending and check my balance quiet often. There are sometimes that I have to overdrawn if I find myself in a bind and I'm ready and prepared for the overdraft fees.....BUT this time they got me good and tried making me feel like I was wrong. They don't take things off your account in the order they are recieved, they take the biggest amounts off per day that way you can get stuck with a bunch of small things to pay overdraft on instead of just the one bigger thing you did 18 hours AFTER all the smaller ones! They are crooks! I WILL be taking my business else where as will my husband and both our families as most of them have been done the exact same way! That's at LEAST a dozen accounts lost right there just because of their greed!!!!!!!

TD Bank Weaverville has on several occasions signed me up for overdraft "protection" without my consent. They have told me that they have a right to do this, as well as to re-order debits so as to maximize fees. I am not alone in being a victim of their practice of charging overdraft fees on occasions when I was not overdrawn. In fact, No matter how careful you are about never over spending, you will fall into their trap of ever increasing fees and penalties. Avoid TD Bank at all costs.
