Went to knick for an older window I needed for a project car.they had the part in stock in good shape and at a fair price.thier attitude was typical of most folks in the vallry.nice till nice isnt needed.real people and I got the window at a good price.half what I would have paid to get it from out of state unseen

***DO NOT USE THEM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE*** Unfortunate they were the only place in 200+ miles that had my part. EXTREMLY RUDE over the phone, VERY unhelpful and worse in person.

Been into their office before after a looooooonnnggg wait while the lady grabbed on the phone forever leaving her customers on hold to take a personal call. I politely asked about a part and she said they didn't have my particular one needed. I asked if she had anything similar so I could try to make it work by doing a custom attachment to my car. It was only minor body work after all... she yelled "Didn't you hear me? Are you deaf? I said we didn't have it!!"

We live in Fairbanks and called looking for a part, explianing that we could come down there on a Saturday. The day before our trip down we called to ensure everything was on schedule and gave payment over the phone. After giving the payment the very unpleasant lady on the phone said we were the 14th ticket in line. Which raised concerns, so Saturday we called and the unpleasant lady said they were still a few tickets away. So 130 my husband called to see if it was going to work out for today, and the lady said I've talked to you 3 times already and we will or we will not get to it today, then hung up. So I called back and told her to cancel the order. She said I told him we might not get to it. I told her that was only after we had given her our payment. Then she hung up again. I should have read the reviews before calling this company. These are the types of people who have no pride in their work and dont care about the customers. One would think if you were in the business of customer service, one should have customer service skills, and or the ability to give accurate information, however this is not the case for this company. I would strongly discouraged anyone for using this company, they are tarnishing alaska's "locally owned" good name. The owner should be embarrassed and ashamed.

My boyfriend just got out of small claims with them and won. The judge ordered them to pay $909 (plus interest and court fees) for selling him not only the wrong motor but a bad motor (they claimed it was a "Grade A motor!") + the parts he bought to install the engine. Of course, that doesn't include the 406 miles he drove round trip to pick it up (He's from Kasilof!). So let the waiting game begin... I wish we read these reviews before buying anything from them.

Drove 300+miles from Fairbanks to get a bumper they claimed to have on the phone the day prior only to find out they never had a bumper...WTF! I spent all this time & gas money. They need to there stuff together! They had the nerve to yell at me for getting my dog out to walk on a leash!

They don't even deserve one star. I had the same experience. The workers are rude and refuse to let you talk to the owner or manager. I bought a steering column from them and with communication with my mechanic, they guaranteed that that this column would work. It did not. They are not trustworthy. They would not even take the part back. And yes, they say they will with a 40% restocking fee. I would not recommend using this horrible company. I am out $300.00. Customer be aware!

They charged a 40 percent restocking fee when we returned a bumper and they did not have the right bumper in stock. Dave was very rude and refused to lower the fee, he also would not let us speak with the manager mike. They would not lower the restocking fee of the bumper of which I dug out of the snow.
