Although it's from the same owner who operates the Leather Rack upstairs, this isn't a leather bar but, rather, a tastefully appointed, well-lit, and very pleasant gay bar. There's a big baby grand piano in the lounge downstairs and anyone with talent is welcome to play. Open only a few days, they've already had good jam sessions develop with piano, horn and bass players dropping in. The striking murals on the first floor were rescued from a Watergate bar. Good drinks, friendly people, capable staff. It's a refreshing addition to Dupont Circle's gay life.
