creepy young man working there with a staring problem. creepy like a creep show dude....like what's he putting in as secret sauce....?? anyway, the chicken was smoked and yummy & fell off the bone, the pork steaks were HUGE but as pork steaks go... fatty. I prefer chops bbq'd. baked beans good except I couldn't get past they had meat shavings in them. Don said the potatoe salad was like store bought. I think they should use 2 variaties of BBQ sauce because one they use was ok but not like I'd like. kinda bitter instead of sweet.

Since this is the only bbq place within 17 miles I have went to them on and off since they opened. Very inconsistant. Sometimes the food is ok...nothing special. Other times borderline unedible. They will give you old meat thet seems like it was cooked 3 days ago. Over 50 percent of the time you will only be able to eat 50 percent of it because it is way over cooked. Sometimes there will be a hint of smoke.......sometimes the smoke is so over powering you'll want to toss it. There sides are good. I like their little porch you can eat in. But hell........Your a bbq place.......Learn how to cook meat. Toninght is the last time I go to the place because I got a pork steak that was about as appetizing as 4 day old chinese slathered in way too much sauce to cover up they were trying to get rid of it. My wife called to complain in a nice manner and said sometimes they are good sometimes not so. They asked if she wanted another and she said no. She got hung up on by one of the guys up there that seemed mildly retarded. Glad I wasn't in front of him or that piece of lead they call pork steak would have made a nice weapon. Look at the other ratings on this site........It's theirs........I even heard the guy acting like a patron instead of an owner and call the Dave Glover show.
