ACADEMY not for just recreation. Learn from the best.

This school is the best around!! You should definitely enroll in their program. They have all the correct certifications and their instructors are recognized by the NCTA, California Taekwondo Association, and Kukkiwon. Their master and black belts are all registered by the World Taekwondo Federation in Korea. They also have instructor certification!
They have a very flexible class schedule with a variety of lessons.
This school provides their students with an excellent facility, staff, and a knowledge of good martial arts. Self-defense, Olympic sparring, Demonstration, Breaking, weapons. They also teach their students about taekwondo philosophy, history, and culture. This is a first rate school! It focuses not only on the physical aspect but also allows their students to grow as human beings. The instructors are very patient and have taught my kids many life lessons about respect and perseverance.

My family DEFINITELY recommends Kang's Taekwondo Academy

Straight to the point self defense. Good workout. Easy to learn.

My buddy told me about the Haganah program there and convinced me to try it out. I love it!
I've only gone a few times, but I think I'm going to make it full time now.
So far, I've learned gun and knife defense that I could apply to 4 scenarios. There's regular hand self defense that goes with it too. It's a good work out and easy to learn. The guys there taught me to funnel it all down to one move that means if I can get there the fight is practically over. You don't have to wear a uniform or anything and this kind of program is only meant for the die hard serious people who really want to learn to defend themselves. It's very straight to the point, and I don't feel like i'm wasting my time. Some of the tactics can be brutal...But it's either that or get killed..so I'm glad to be learning.
It's a good outlet for my stress, and we practice with the real intensity of the situation in mind.

I'm going to bring my teenage brother in to do it with me soon so that he can learn too.

My kids have improved so much. We are all a lot happier.

Starting my kids at Kang's has really helped them in school. They've been training for a year and are almost ready to move up to the next level. I think the positive environment has really helped them. Their focus and concentration has improved so that they can do their homework and work on their own. I have a son and two daughters who used to get really frustrated when they didn't get something, and they were always getting distracted. But now they don't get as frustrated anymore. They're able to focus a lot better too and they fight with each other less! It must be because of their martial arts training. I'm very thankful to Mr. H for his patience and firm guidance.

At Kang's my kids have learned not only to kick and punch, but how to apply themselves and learn to succeed. They don't give up so easily, and I know that's because of taekwondo.

This school is wonderful!!! I highly recommend.‎

My child has been attending Kang's Taekwondo Academy for awhile now and he has been having a wonderful time. The classes are fun and exciting, and I'm able to pick him up from there right after work. We had checked out some other schools in the area like The Academy for Martial Arts and Sparta Taekwondo which is a little bit farther away. Neither of these other schools greeted us with as much enthusiasm and attention. At Kang's we feel the community atmosphere. My son has shown more discipline at home and he says "Thank you!" a lot more too. :) I recommend this school for anyone looking to have an outlet for their children's energy while at the same time having them learn good manners and proper etiquette. The instructors there are so nice and my son really looks up to them. He enjoys learning self-defense and talks about it all the time.
