It was a hot day . I was on another mission doing Gods work for a local church . I had went to the Hyatt down the street looking for a room clean the price is a little bit high I have been traveling working for the church. So I decided to go to the Marriott to check it out. I walked there in the Heat and when I arrived I had a nice glass of complimentary water . upon asking where the restroom was , they said I cannot use it . they said #we don't want ur kind here . And then they proceeded to ask me to leave . Now I do not know if this was because I was Mexican or the cross on my chest , or the fact I looked like a bum from walking all sweaty but they mistaken me for someone else .
I thought racism was over with or the prejudice against religious men like myself was well and over with . Or maybe they did not like the fact that I was disabled. Whatever it is , it is a fundamental violation of our civil rights . u have the right to refuse service but to not let me use the bathroom is in human ? The way they looked at me made me feel less than and as they all laughed as I walked away in shame almost made me cry . luckily I can only forgive those lost souls who wish harm upon me . thank u Jimrock
