Stillwater Lyle B MD FACS

By far the worst doctor I have ever met! I took my mom to see this man in hopes that he would try to figure out a solution to her health issues as we believed she may have vertigo. He refused to do anything more than check for ringing ears because that is what was stated when the appointment was made. He made rude comments asking me to tell her to only speak when asked a question…not sure if he had an issue with her broken English. I basically pleaded for additional testing he cut me off stated yet again that he would only check for ringing ears as he walked out of the room so I told him he had basically wasted our time. He stated, “Yeah, okay.” I told him he had horrible bedside manner, he replied, “Yeah, that’s fine.” Finally, I said, “You are such a prick. I’m never coming back here again.” I feel bad for the staff who work for this POS. He needs to retire he clearly hates what he does for a living and is not in it to help patients who are in desperate need of medical care.

Dr. Stillwater is an excellent doctor who truly cares about his patients. I had the deviated septum surgery and he took really good care of me. The surgery went well and I am very pleased with his care.

After seeing this doctor several times, I realized, although he may not seem to have a great bedside manner at times, it is because he is paying very close attention to what I am saying, taking it all in. He doesn't miss anything. Ultimately, he is an excellent doctor because of it. He is not dismissive at all the way some doctors are the way they pat you on the back seeming to have a great bedside manner, but not really listening to you at all. I'd rather have Dr. Stillwater, who pays attention and knows what he's doing, than all the other so-so doctors with all their smiles and so-so knowledge put together.
