Parrots for Patriots

Chris and his team at Parrots for Patriots is one organization I strongly support, and we, and my foundation will continue to support. Although I'm not a veteran, I have a physical challenge.

Our new family member, “Harley” - Thank you so much!

"Harley" is one wonderful sweet girl. She s a young 19 year old gal, who was well pampered and spoiled her entire life. After the initial meeting with the team, and then the adoption process, awesome, completed, and an intensive introduction course, continued into the early am, again awesome, finalized a couple of nights ago. "Harley" & team brought with her 2 large cages, two perches, both indoor and outdoor, books and toys.

She speaks about two dozen words and phrases & very gentle - Harley is accustomed to being out of her cage all day long, on a perch or on her large cage.

"Harley" is very docile and sweet. We will have a little transitional period, but time frame and plan well thought out in advance - so far so good, we are forming the flock.

"Harley" talks, love Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett, Latin American music, Flamenco and watching Angry Birds and Rio, both of which I have never personally seen.

As I type, the latter, we are watching and at the same time listening to Ottmar Liebert, Paco de Lucia and Jesse Cook.
