Oral Cancer Screening

The best way to prevent oral cancer is with early detection and treatment. Our family dentistry provides regular oral cancer screenings every 6 months. These screenings are pain-free and they only take a few minutes– we look for unusual lumps, discoloration, and other abnormalities. Simply let our dental hygienists know youâ€™re interested in having an oral cancer screening and they can perform it during your regular cleaning. If anything unusual is detected, we may refer you for specialized testing.
