We are experts in both modern issue bullion coins (American Eagles, Buffalos, Kruger ands, etc.) and in older numismatic / collectible coins (pre-1933 gold and pre-1965 silver coins). Blue Moon Coins, the History Ken's introduction to coin collecting started when he was about ten years old and riding his bike up to Wilshire Boulevard to take his 1922 US Peace dollar to the Superior Stamp and Coin. Ken recalls, It was about 1971. I remember walking into this shop with sweaty business guys on both sides of the counter. They were evaluating literally piles of coins for an upcoming auction. I saw them deep in discussion, into their craft. One of them turned to the young kid. Ken took the coin from his pocket. The coin dealer told Ken his 1922 Peace Dollar was worth six dollars and no more because the Trust In God we Trust was spelled with a -v, a known spelling derivative of the 1922 Peace Dollar. The dealer didn't buy the coin, but from that moment, Ken began to understand the variations in coins and pricing. That day he was hooked, and today, that very coin remains in his collection. Ken and his wife, Wendy, didn't stay in southern California for long. As their family began, they decided to relocate to more kid-friendly Washington. It is business-friendly, close to an airport, and beautiful. It is here that the Vilkin family has grown from two to six (ten, counting pets). Aaron also got the coin bug as a kid. He bought his first coin when he was six years old. While other kids were out playing, Aaron spent his summers in his dad's coin shop learning about bullion, trading, and business. In the decade between his mid-20 to now, he's traded over $150 million in bullion product. Aaron has a keen artistic eye for design and creates beautiful pieces of jewelry for celebrities and musical talent. Ken and Aaron did business together as fellow vendors and grew a deep respect for each other's business acumen and skill sets. In 2009, Ken brought Aaron into Blue Moon Coins as a partner to manage the bullion portion of the business and to update the web presence and diversify the business using digital media, a role Aaron continues to perform for his family's coins and jewelry businesses. You would be hard-pressed to find a combination of two more knowledgeable coin experts!

Well I sure wishI had found this before I tried to make a purchase from Blue Moon coin....the owner cashed my check and kept the money....Please find somewhere else to puchases Silver. Why this web site is still allowed to operate makes me wonder??????
Avoid at all costs....the apparent owner, Aaron Scott, took our order in December, 2013 and still has never delivered on the full order and it has now been over a month with no refund. Our company has filed a lawsuit and the Vancouver Police Department is investigating this company for theft and fraud (case V14-290X). Because we wired funds and didn't use a credit card we have also turned this over to the FBI for mail and wire fraud investigation.
Initially a bit nervous first time, but the prompt service at reasonable cost made me comeback again. Online support is good, especially I found Aaron being helpful through email support and resolve tracking issues in a timely manner.
I've never sold gold before and did my research online for pricing and checked out a bunch of shops around Denver where I live. I gave these guys a call and they promised to beat any price no matter what. Any time I hear something like that I'm kinda leery but they held true to their word and I'm almost addicted to buying and selling now. The owner will take any price I find online or anyone local to me and make sure he beats it.
Went in and met owner gave him some gold I wanted to sell. He walked me thru the process and showed me everything. He offered a better price then I thought. I would recommend.
