All Weather Shield of WA

In July 2014 I contacted Robert the owner of All Weather Shield of Washington and asked him for a price to finish the roof that someone had put on half of. The materials were there it was just the labor. I sent him a picture of the cabin/roof and explained where it was. He said he had put a couple roofs on nearby on the mountain so he knew where it was. He told me $375.00 after I had sent him pictures of the roof and cabin and some square footages and the pitch of the roof. In early September 2014 I called and asked him about a day again because it was getting close to the rainy season and I was getting worried. He said he had another roof to do near my cabin so he would come up and do it the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

He came up that Saturday and said oh he didn’t bring the right ladder so he would need to come back in a week or so. He also said I would need a few more materials than I had but it shouldn’t be more than $100 or so. I asked him then to PLEASE tell me if he wasn’t going to come back because I had to get the roof on this year and that I was really afraid of a leak. He assured me he would be back.

I called him late September after I didn’t hear from him and he said he couldn’t do it that weekend but he would get back to me October 6th or 7th. So October 10th he finally texted me and told me that he re-evaluated it and it would now cost me $1500.00 to do it!!!!

First off that’s 4 times what he originally told me and he knew the size and the pitch of the roof and the location. Then he didn’t have the strength to tell me to my face when he was at the cabin. Third he didn’t even have the guts to call and tell me he texted me! So now here I am, and still without a roof this year! )@$%&$#& What kind of a business person is this?
