We use a variety of tools, including the DIAGNOdent system, Wand® Computer Controlled Anesthetic System, and Tyler Sedation to provide you with a comprehensive examination and restorative experience. Dr. Stansbury is highly skilled in an array of preventive, cosmetic, and restorative services and encourages his team to also stay on top of the latest research. Ever since he was a child, Dr. Stansbury wanted to be a dentist. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1971 and Baylor College of Dentistry in 1974 he started a practice in Tyler. Always fascinated with the ever-changing field of dentistry, Dr. Stansbury participates in a variety of continuing education courses throughout the year. He is also certified in Oral Conscious Sedation to make your visit more comfortable. Dr. Stansbury is an active member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Ark-La-Tex Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the Smith County Dental Society. It has been his honor to serve as 2010-2011 President of the ETDS 3d District President. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Stansbury volunteers his time with the American Diabetes Association, Give Kids a Smile Day and Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. He participates in the Texas Mission of Mercy, where he provides his services to the under-served patients of East Texas. He previously served on the Board of Directors at the Discovery Science Place, a hands-on science museum for kids of all ages. He is married with three adult children and is the adoring grandfather of his precious granddaughters.

I am now 90 years old and I will keep on coming to this dentist only to let him and his staff care for my old teeth. He is such a compassionate person and the young ladies in his office make me feel really special.
Even though I am not the most consistent of patients (out of town, work travel), the hygienist never scold me. I always tease them about dental pain- but that's the tease: there is no pain! They are gentle and my visits are always comfortable!
This is my first visit, I am not sure if I am qualified to write a review however I am very impressed! I was referred to the doctor by 4 people who worked in my office that are patients here. I am so glad they sent me here I am so pleased with the office everyone is so friendly it is more than I expected.
When I came to see Dr. S 1 1/2 years ago, I knew I needed to have extensive work done. They have exceeded my expectations. My mouth is healthy, my smile is beautiful!! The staff is fun and the office is so nice.
My family and I have only been patients at Stansbury Dental for 6 years, however I feel like we are a part of their dental family. The hygienists are so gentle and very thorough.
I started seeing Dr. Stansbury when I was 5 years old. That was 20 years ago. I cannot imagine another dentist caring for me in the manner which Dr. S does. Awesome staff & great office.
What a great group of professionals!! They are all knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, caring and they have a family attitude and provide treatments with great compassion. Dr. Stansbury has given me my dental life back and helped me be able to smile again. I completely trust him and his staff and fully recommend them.
Once again, Dr. Stansbury has met my needs! I have back trouble and as a result, I cannot lean back in the chair. Dr. S goes the extra way to lift the chair and stand while he cares for me. A rare thing indeed! He is great!
Dr. Stansbury has been caring for me for over 20 years. He is gentle and very good at restorations! I get compliments on my smile everywhere I go.

I have been coming to see Dr. Stansbury for years and he has always been a caring, gentle and knowledge dentist. I love the outcome of my cosmetic dental work and would recommend him for all your dental needs. His staff is also just as sweet and always makes you feel comfortable. In great hands with Dr. Stansbury and staff!
The exam room and back area was very clean and comfortable. The wait time was excellent, didn't even have to wait a long time to even see the dentist. And the dentist did a good job explanating the problem and what treatment had to be done.
Greatest staff and level of professionalism I've ever been involved with! I actually look forward to going the dentist now! I recommend everyone come here.
