I experienced a very traumatic birth with my first child. So much so that every time I talked about it or had a discussion with someone about their own birth, I would feel like I was robbed if my experience. All I felt when I thought about the birth of my child was pain, anger, hurt, and sadness of the loss of a missed opportunity. I had one session with Amy and she was able to help me work through those feelings that I had never been able to even talk about before. I was able to associate new and positive emotions regarding my birth during our session.
