X-rays
Reduced Radiation Exposure: Traditional dental X-rays use high levels of radiation, which can be concerning for patients. High-resolution low-radiation CBCT scans, on the other hand, use much lower levels of radiation, reducing the risk of harm to the patient.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
With our convenient location in seattle and kent, we are your local comprehensive periodontal office, able to manage everything from periodontal therapy to all-on-4 dental implants, gum and bone grafting and oral surgery.
Flap Surgery
Surgical therapy for periodontal disease may be recommended if non-surgical therapy is not effective or if the condition is more advanced. Surgical options for periodontal disease include flap surgery, bone and tissue grafts, and dental implants.
Osseous Surgery
As a minimally invasive alternative to osseous surgery, your periodontist may recommend Perioscope therapy. A Perioscope is a small camera that slides between the tooth and gum and allows your periodontist to locate and treat the diseased area. This is recommended for many patients because surgery isn’t required and it can be an effective way of reversing periodontal disease.
Tooth Extractions
When you lose a tooth, you want to replace it as quickly and effectively as possible. Immediate dental implant placement is a revolutionary technique that allows you to receive a dental implant the same day as your tooth extraction, without the need for a prolonged healing period. This technique offers several benefits over traditional delayed implant placement, including fewer appointments and a less invasive process.

Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Ida Zarrabi DDS, MSD graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Biological Science and was denoted with Excellence in Research. During this time, she found dentistry as a perfect combination of art and science, and decided to pursue her dental degree at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). It was her artistic nature and deep love of science that allowed her to be recognized as a recipient of the APEX award by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
General Dentistry
After completing her DDS degree, she completed a 1-year specialized training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After her General Practice Residency (GPR), she practiced advanced general dentistry in private practice in California for 2 years before moving to Washington to specialize in Periodontology and implantology. She has completed her Periodontics training at the University of Washington (UW) and has been awarded a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Zarrabi is certified in IV Relaxation and is a member of several dental organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, Western Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Academy of Osseointegration and the Washington State Dental Association.
