Feline Limited Cat Clinic

We went to Dr. Upchurch to get a 2nd opinion re: some long term illnesses our kitty has. She was very nice but based on research and information from specialists it seems that she is utilizing protocols for treatment that are "old" and no longer considered best practice. We also had a very bad experience with her front office person who was very rude to both my husband and I and snapped at us when we asked for clarification and when we called wanting to talk to the Dr. about recent developments. We never did get to speak with the doctor despite the fact that we had some significant medical needs at the time. We will no longer visit this vet as a result of these 2 issues.

Denise Upchurch at Feline Limited on Campbell in Tucson, is a soft sell, very kind, and truely loving of her work, her pateints and her craft . I'm glad I found her. I really appreacite the no dogs deal... I love doggie's, but most cats dont, so this is nice if your kitty-kat wouldnt mind not seeing another dog the rest of his or her life. : )My Fluffy was going blind seemingly over a few scant days, and I brought her in expecting the worse. Vet Denise Upchurch diagnosed it as HIGH blood presure, having an affect on Fluffys eyes retina's or sumpin baffling. She prescribed some very inexpensive meds, and within 2 days, my little Fluffers was Ok. I know a guy who just recently had to have his 21 yr olde kitty put down, and Denise CAME OVER on an off day. and helped with his passing. I have been taking my two cats to this office for 3 years and it doesn't get any better than this. Whether you are ther for a routine visit or an emergency visit you will never be nor feel rushed. Dr. Upchurch is amazing in knowledge of cats but also in the compassion that she had for them. I have sent 4 of my fellow cat lovers and all thay could say was "wow, this place is amazing." Know that when you are walking in those front doors you are walking in to a place that cares and loves your cat as much as you do.

I have owned animals for my entire life and in fifty years I have never experienced a veterinarian with such expertise, love for animals, empathy for what the animal is experiencing and ability to explain what is necessary to treat the animal in detail to me as an owner. Dr. UpChurch goes well beyond what a visit to the vet has been normalized to be as she takes a tremendous amount of time with the cat to perform a thorough and remarkable examination. I am extremely impressed with her professionalism and would not hesitate to refer her to any cat and owner who wants a vet that is grounded in what conscientious and loving pet owners desire in finding someone that genuinely loves their vocation and goes the extra mile for anything the cat needs to ensure complete health. We adopted Oreo through FAIR and had a free Vet exam and chose Dr. Upchurch from the short list we were provided. I liked her immediately; she is warm and friendly. Her Vet tech is funny and clearly loves the animals. I highly recommend this clinic.
