D. Evans Piano Tuner has been servicing pianos for 47 years. Since 1978, we have been the Steinway piano technician for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the local Steinway piano dealer. We are also the concert technician for the University of Arizona Centennial Hall for 18 years, servicing the University of Arizona harpsichords since 1972. Tuner for the Tucson Symphony. General Info: I have been servicing pianos for 47 years. Since 1978 I have been the Steinway Piano technician for the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the local Steinway piano dealer. I have been the concert technician for the U of A Centennial Hall for 20 years. I have serviced the U of A harpsichords since 1972.• Trained in the Steinway factory in New York City• Complete concert regulation voicing and repair• Action regulation, making the piano faster and more responsive• Touch adjustment, making it lighter or heavier as desired• Piano voicing, making it brighter and warmer, with greater range of expression. Many famous pianists have raved about my work on the pianos they have played and have suggested to other symphony orchestras around the world that they fly me in to voice and regulate their pianos.
