why not just count your change at the register next time (or at your table)? if you are concerned about insulting the staff by counting your money in front of them, then just act you are straightening out the bills, or give them back a ten and ask for change for a tip.

We have been to this restaurant 3 times. The food is really good, but this last time we went, we paid with cash. Our bill was $24. My husband gave the server $40 & asked for change. She only gave him change for $30. He didn't realize it until we were almost home (we live 2 hours away). We have called 3 times AND NEVER WOULD A MANAGER COME TO THE PHONE. NOT ONCE!!!!. My husband told the girl on the night of our visit the situation (gave her the ticket number & name of our server). She said she would hold the money until the next time we came & my husband explained that we live 2 hours away & it would probably be several months before we would be back in that area. He asked for her to mail it. She didn't. My husband called back & the girl said she would have the manger call back. NEVER DID! Called back this 3rd time & suddenly the girl wasn't over in her money on the night we came. HMMMMM, I guess she couldn't have kept the $10 extra in a her pocket, huh?!!! Bottom line, this is THE MOST PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. THE MANAGER WON'T EVEN COME TALK TO THE CUSTOMER?! AWFUL. Do not go this restaurant because the managers are not worried enough about you as a customer to even talk to you. I can only imagine what would happen if you had an in house bad experience with bad food or bad service. I guess the manager would be too "busy" to come see you at the table. PATHETIC!!!!!
