Traverse Vision

I was nearly out of contact lenses and went in to purchase some more. Turns out that my contact prescription is only valid for one year even though I'm only able to get an eye exam every two years via my insurance. Rather than try to figure out a way to help with my issue (even if it cost me money,) the office staff basically pushed me out the door.



I went to another office and they gave me two pairs of trial lenses (for free) to get me by until I could schedule another eye exam.



The doctors are good and the office is nice, but I just don't have time for anyone who isn't willing to attempt to offer a solution to a problem. I wasn't looking for a handout, I just wanted help finding a solution.

A coworker recommended Traverse Vision to me. I was complaining that it was time for a new eye exam and some new glasses. I have been wearing glasses my whole life and I have to say this place beats them all. The staff is incredibly friendly. The Dr I saw spent time with me, quality time, explaining to me in a very clear way what my persription was and how this new prescription was going to clear my world up. Also he explained to me that the actual health of my eyes. I was shown a photo (which they take every year to compare) of the inside of my eyes. I was shown my blood vessels and my retina. It was so fasinating to me. At Traverse Vision, I know I am in a place that actually cares about me and everyone I worked with spent time answering my question. A part that I actually really appreciated was when I asked a question like "do these frames look good?" I was given an answer. Sometimes it was "no" and some were "yes". They are honest and if the glasses i was asking about didnt look good they made suggestions. I recommended this place to all my friends and family. I'll never go elsewhere. Im a very happy customer!

This place is one of the most fantastic optical stores i have ever been in. As I walked in I saw two long walls full of frames. One mens and one womens. I knew I could find something here to represent my taste in fashion and for fun. The opticians there guided me step by step. The word overwhelm never came to mind while I was engaged in choosing a frame. I can definately tell you that they have the largest selection of quality frames i have ever seen from Gucci to Silhouettes. From Mauji Jim sunglasses to Oakley. I was asked questions based on my lifestyle, what i do for work, and what I want my glasses to say. Getting glasses was a process that I used to put off because I hated my experiences from the past and how hard it was for me to pick out my glasses. At Traverse Vision, the process was fun, and incredibly easy, my time was respected, and EVERYONE loves my new glasses and sunglasses!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I would NEVER recommend working with this company. They told me FOUR different times that my glasses would be available and they were NOT. After 4 weeks of not having my glasses and being lied to, I AM NOT HAPPY. Every time you speak with someone there, no one knows what's going on. Yes, your glasses are in. Wait, No they are not. Wait, let me talk to someone. Well, I spoke with someone and I'm not sure your glasses are in. REALLY!? You don't know if they are in. How about you FIND OUT and let me know the real answer instead of my driving all the way over there! Get some competent people to work there. I'd NEVER recommend this company, EVER!
