Opa! Coney and Grill

I went there for breakfast. $11.01 (before tip) for a 2 egg chili omelet. They have a chili and cheese omelet on the menu. I had them hold the cheese (same price). I understand them not discounting the price for no cheese but there was so little chili on the omelet they spread it on the eggs with a knife before they severed it to me.I chose this restaurant because they a Coney Island restaurant. That's where you'll get the best chili. This was an over priced HUGE disappointment. I am used to paying $6 for a 3 egg omelet that has at least double the chili that this omelet did. With a $2 tip (I know that's less than 20% but for this meal I felt $2 was a stretch) the total breakfast tab was over $13. It wasn't worth half of that.

I recived 3rd place in the 2009 first hotdog eating contest and still eat their all the time and I have the shirt to prove it!

Excellent option if you are looking for something different in the Traverse City area. Some of the best Gyro's I've ever had. Other menu items have been very good as well. Besides having the gyro's and Greek food they also have some Hungarian food as well as burgers, Coney dogs that snap when you bite in to them and some good breakfast options. It's a good place to go if you like to try different foods but someone you are with would prefer to just have a burger.
