VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars)

This place was a complete joke to say the least. I decided to rent the small hall for my 1 yr olds burthday party. I wanted the VFW because I am a military wife whose husband has served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghan so supporting a VFW was common sense. My was a wrong in this decision. During the birthday party members of the VFW were coming into the birthday party to go and grab things out of a room or closet that was located inside the room we rented. Annoyance #1 because they came in and nit said excuse me or apologized for havingvto come in. The feeling of entitlement on their behalf was definitely there. Plus I was never told this would be happening. If I had known I would of definitely never rented the hall. Once we were ready to sing happy birthday a very but I mean very rude man walked in the hall and practically yelled in front of all the guest who was in charge. I told him I was. Apparently he was very very upset that someone had locked the outside door that leads into our rented hall and a door that also leads to the side of the bar.( there is a main door to the bar and this door is quite inconvenient for those just going to the bar) I apologized for tge incident and asked him to please pull me to yhe side next time as that approach was completely inappropriate. He dint care and told me if it happens again we would be out of there and stormed out. I was humiliated beyond belief. My guest kid you not ended up leaving right after we sang happy birthday. Not once did they tell me that people drinking would still have access to a side door which makes completely no sense to want to use unless you are being nossy!!!! Worat place tovhave any event hands down and to think this post represents the sacrifice that every service man my husband including has gone through and to think that members like those are who we call our herose. Those members from that incident should be ashamed on how they handled the situation.
