        Founded in 1929, The Cozy Restaurant and Country Inn offers large dining and meeting rooms to accommodate banquet dining and large groups. The restaurant hosts events, such as wedding ceremonies, reception dinners and business luncheons. It is one of the oldest family-owned restaurants in the state of Maryland. The Cozy Restaurant and Country Inn also operates a souvenir shop that includes T-shirts, umbrellas, jackets, notebooks, watches, hats, golf balls and other merchandise. In addition, it offers a variety of wines that includes zinfandel, shiraz and sauvignon blanc to customers. The Cozy Restaurant and Country Inn maintains a location in Thurmont, Md.

        Country Food Heaven, In the Country

        There's something about great country food served by cheery, experienced professional servers that triggers memories of Americana. Now, put all that goodness in a cute, "cozy" restaurant in a spot not too far from Camp David and you've got a winner!



        Great bread, good (though a bit small) buffet that is especially good on crab leg nights! I usually opt to go a la carte and order some favorites such as the ham.



        Thurmont has a good number of good restaurants and Cozy is by far the all-American favorite!
