Ann's Preschool & Kindergarten

My daughter has been at Ann's for a year and a half and we are thinking of keeping her there for kindergarden too. We are just more than half way into the Vpk school year and she has learned so much. We like the hands on learning, so all the senses are involved. They have themed areas of study throughout the year, have multi age activities for children to learn from others and mentor, and they strive to really make learning fun, which is surperb. Some of the lead teachers have been there a long time and are fantastic with the kids. Anyone looking for a high quality learning environment for their child should go by for a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I can't tell you how happy I am that my daughter attended Ann's Preschool. She has special needs, and the staff has been so caring and loving with each stage in her development. She previously attended the Growing Room, which was a very nice facility but the activities, crafts, and attentive teachers make Ann's so much more special. At Ann's, the children attend concerts, ballet, go on field trips and make their own costumes for a musical play they perform proudly for the parents each season. All of the families bring a covered dish or treat and we celebrate the seasons and revel in the energy of the creative young mind.There's a reason why Ann's Preschool and Kindergarten has been a Tallahassee standard for educating young children for thirty years -- this school is truly special.

I couldn't be more grateful for the staff, teachers and director at Ann's. They truly give their all to provide a positive and educational environment for the children. We have had our fair share of not-so-great experiences at other preschools in the past...and then we found Ann's. My son has never thrived like he is now. Our extended family has even noticed major improvements in his understanding and attitude since he started. I know from experience that this school is one of a kind. My son is actually excited to go to school every day and I have peace of mind when I'm at work. What a wonderful feeling to have found THE ONE!

My daughter has been attending Anns for a year now. When we took the tour I knew immediately that I had found the preschool I was looking for. The decor was rich with the kids art, on the walls, hanging from the ceiling, they help paint murals, and art projects line the windows. Not a tv in the place! This summer they hatched tadpoles, last fall they had caterpillars. A lot of mixing between age groups so the big kids get to model behavior for the littles. Teachers are fantastic and everyone is well loved by my little one. Director always has time for a chat. Kids do a recital a few times a year and it is literally the cutest thing ever.

Diverse popuplation; very clean; consistent, caring and competent teachers; experienced director; convienent locaion; regular communication; high expectations for students; challenging curriculum that prepares students for school. I have been involved with Ann's Preschool since 2009. I have great conficence in the program there.

From the moment I first walked into Ann's I did and still do feel there's no other place better for my daughter. She has been with Ann's since 3 years old. She is now 5. I have never had any issues only happiness. My daughter has learned so much and the environment is very stimulating, I love that. She loves all the teachers and helpers. Our daughter has attended Ann's for nearly 2 1/2 years and we are so delighted with the school. She has flourished and grown so much thanks to the teachers there. The program is of the highest quality, the teachers and director/owner are fantastic, and our daughter loves attending school there!The curriculum is fantastic, the students are grouped by age and study a different theme for a month- 6 weeks at a time. During each unit, our little one becomes an expert in the current topic. They incorporate art, play, cooking, and many other sensory activities into each topic. Several times a year the students put on a play for the families and it is evident just how much the students are learning each day. We have recommended Ann's to several friends and they have not been disappointed! We will be sad in August when our daughter begins Kindergarten at a new school. Ann's is the best!
