Abbey Lake Apartments

Wide diversity in community. I live in the newer section and have lived at Abbey Lake for a year. Their location is great, the pond and additional wildlife add a feel of home. I have read the reviews and here is my take, my experience. No mold anywhere in my apartment, never has been and my air will freeze you out. If I ever asked anything of management it was always handled promptly and respectfully. The management is very helpful and extremely nice to work with. Have I seen people upset, sure because they are asked to be curtious to the entire community or respect the rules or my favorite they must be clean. As a resident I like living in a community where management removes those that do not respect the rules of community living and empathize with the management that has to be the bad guy and tell them they have to go. My apt has 9 households in this building and I know them, talk to them, not to mention the other surrounding part of this community. I recently bought a home and although we are excited we are sad to say goodbye to Abbey Lake. I highly recommend Abbey Lake to anyone who needs an efficient apt that wants a fun safe environment to live in.

We came from out of state and Ashley and Ben were fantastic! We looked several places but the staff and overall condition of the apartments are so much better at Abbey Lake. The neighbors are friendly and enjoy getting to know each other. -Christina

Let me start by saying that I lived in the 1story old apartment not the new 3story ones. I'm sure those are nicer & improved. The old ones though are terrible. I'm 99% sure there is black mold growing in the roof of all of them. I lived there for 1 year & the whole time I kept getting sick/had some type of health concern. My mother who is in great health coughed up blood the first morning after she stayed with me. She refused to ever stay with me again. The storage area on my back patio was leaking bad & ruined some of my things & they refused to pay for/replace & then took forever to fix the roof. They claim a guy comes & sprays for bugs once a month..doubtful. My neighbors & I still had bugs & not just in the kitchen. There's also no ventilation. It's musty and the fan that is in the kitchen (In some of the apartments) that is supposed to help suck the air from the living room into the bed room doesn't work at all. Bedroom stays hot. Living room stays freezing.WORST APARTMENTS EVER
