Had Golden Rule out to our house because of all the good reviews. Now, I think all the reviews are bogus and made up by his friends. They came out and Mr Allen (owner) told us he was a Licensed Master Plumber (he claims this on his website too) and that we were protected because he was a BBB accredited company (he even showed us the BBB logo and all in his Pricing Book). Turns out, as of 7/20/2015, this was all a LIE. He is not a Licensed Master Plumber (SCLLR 803-896-4300), I called to find out. He also LIED about the BBB (Upstate BBB 864-242-5052), called them too. This was NOT a case of misunderstanding, see company owners are not confused about their participation with the BBB and tradesmen don't forget whether or not they have achieved a Master's Level in licensure. This was sorry attempt to cheat, swindle, deceive and lie his way in to our home and con us out of our hard earned money under completely false pretenses. His prices are very high, perhaps even justifiable for a large company with overhead but his prices maybe criminal with regards to the fact that he isn't a Master Plumber, isn't currently a BBB and it is also based on these facts, likely he doesn't carry the appropriate insurances either based on the lies we know about. You may want to STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY.
