Tarzana Karate Studio

In 2007, HoSik Pak fooled me into buying his old business on Topanga Blvd, next to Sherman Way. He cheated me out of $20,000 for his old equipment and to vacate the building. After trying to apply for a license my self, I found out he didn't even have a business license to operate a studio. The location was not zoned for a studio due to lack of parking. Pak didn't own the location. I paid to rent the studio from someone else. I am not a karate person. I was the girlfriend of Gery Howard Curtis off and on for ten years. I did this to try to keep Gery in the work furlough program in Ventura County. During the time I knew Gery, he dated others, including a girl named Heidi and a young under age Japanese student. Pak fired Gery, aka Geryh, the day before he was to go into a work furlough program instead of going to jail. Without a job, Gery went to jail. the Judge would not allow Gery to work for me at the studio. You may know Gery as Hurricane or Geryh. Gery convinced me to buy Pak's studio to try to help him stay out of jail. Pak knew this and accepted my cashiers check for 20k. I have his signature on my bill of sale. Gery told me he would run the studio for me if I helped him and he would pay me back but he never did. Pak left the phone number on the sign top of the building and would not sign it over to me. When people called, they got Paks studio in Tarzana. I couldn't reach the sign and I had no business at all. Pak came back to the Topanga studio about a week after he vacated the business and stole all the students old contracts and contact info. I had to change the locks to keep him from stealing the equipment, too. When Gery got out of jail, he started to teach a favorite young male student at the studio. I waited 4 months then I changed the locks on the studio, closed it and ended my lease of that location. Pak kept my 20 thousand. Gery got over 70 k from me. I condensed my home equity loans into one mortgage and am still paying them off, including my credit cards. So far, I've paid off about 7 k. Gery called 3 years ago and offered to give me a dog in return for my help. I hung up the phone. I haven't heard from either party since and I was so in debt that I had no means to sue them. I feel everyone should know the truth about what happen. I may be a fool, but I'm not like Pak or Gery Curtis.
