I used this company back in 2004 and was very pleased with the promptness, competency and courtesy of the company and their electricians plus their pricing was competitive. This time was a totally different experience. On the plus side they came out promptly and the electrician they sent out was friendly. On the negative side the upfront charges for diagnostics are extremely expensive (in my earlier experience they charged diagnostics on an hourly rate). There is $49 trip fee (last time they only charged it if you didn't have them do the work they diagnosed), They didn't have the parts needed for the repair (a pool pump timer) and couldn't figure out a reasonable way to get two outside lights operational again (the price he quoted verbally was $890 to jury rig a solution for the two lights or $300+ for a single "security light". I ended up paying $270 for him to come out, wander around for an hour, say I was "unlucky" and not be able to resolve a single issue.

I am very impressed with this company and the electrician that came to my house to solve an electric problem related to my water heater. He was very nice. He wore a uniform clearly identifying him with the company. Access to my water heater is outside my home and each time he had to come into my home he stopped to put on the booties over his shoes. He found the problem, told me the estimated time it would take to fix it and what the cost would be. The job was done in the estimated time and the price was what he had quoted. I will definitely call this company again if I have need of electrical help and will also recommend them to my friends and family.

I was very impressed of the professional work performed by Jaz. He explained everything that he was doing. His quality of work ethics was above and beyond of what I have seen in the service industry. The cost of the repair was very very reasonable. I would highly recommend Small Jobs Electric to any one who wants quality work done for a very a reasonable price.

this was a very good experience. I called one day the the next day someone came out. They gave me an estimate and was able to do the work right then. The man who came out was very friendly and professional and knew what he was doing. He got right to work and the cost was very reasonable. I would absolutely call them again if I need an electrician and would recommend then to others.

I came home from work and half the power was out in my house including my fridge. i called this company and they were out in 30 minutes and had my problem fixed in no time which was great because the food didn't spoil. They were reasonable, fast and they answer their phone!

She replied in a very snooty voice "AND ANYWAY we don't have a person available for at least two weeks". Not exactly a great way to keep such a rep.

I used Small Jobs Electric, they came on time, they had everything that was need to complete the job that same day, price was fair for quality work, I will defenetly use them again!!

I called them to come out and give me a prie to check out a GFI that kept tripping. When they came out, it was going to cost me around $255 to check it out and fix. I decided to wait because of the cost and they said it would be $49 dispatch fee. He was here about 10-15 minutes. I objected because I wasn't told about that fee on the phone. The guy that came out was really nice and checked with the office and they waived that fee since my wife and I just got laid off. I can't comment on the work because I decided to wait but you should know about the fee when you want a quote for a job.

They were fast, courteous and did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again.

I had an unexpected surprise when my new range was delivered but couldn't be installed because my old range was hard wired-based on previous reviews, I chose Small Jobs Electric and on 8/27/10, was provided with the most friendliest, knowledgeable electrictians I've ever dealt with-his name is Jaz Mendez*. He was thorough, investigated a problem of poor electric service that was handled prior to him, and efficiently resolved it in order to complete the initial service requested. The price for the service was more than reasonable and I will gladly use Small Jobs Electric again. *He also had an assistant however I did not catch his name, but he was equally knowledgeable and helpful.

Just had a new outlet installed for my over-the-range microwave. Ron from Small Jobs Electric came out, right on time, and completed a professional job that I could not have done myself. He was friendly and took the time to explain to me exactly what the job would require. He beat his estimated time for the job and the quote was quite reasonable for the amount of work he did. (Even threw in a discount for the little bit of assistance I gave finding the wire, incredibly fair and completely unexpected). When the job was done, he cleaned up so that I couldn't tell he was ever there. This was my first time to contract out, and I am glad I chose this company to complete my work. I will be using them again in the future. -Brendan

I'm so thrilled with the work and professionalism that Small Jobs Electric provided. They gave me a fair estimate, then spent 1.5 days in my home installing pendant and under-cabinet lights, repairing some outlets, and doing some other work. The electrician, Ron, was very pleasant and trustworthy, and spent a ton of extra time helping me to make sure I would be happy with the location of the new lights. He was very punctual, very knowledgeable, and very respectful. The work was great, and he left the work areas gleaming. Hooray for great service!!!

Small Jobs came out on a Sunday when my lights kept dimming and then they'd get brighter and sparks were flying out of an outlet. I was very pleased with their services and the fact that they were able to get to my home so quickly, especially on a Sunday.

They were great! They came out the same day and they were very professional and clean. Will use them again.
