We've eaten here several times. Service is consistently attentive. Management is present and circulating. The food is always flavorful. I love the enchiladas and the guacamole is fresh!! Music on the patio is fun and the mariachis inside are great!! We just keep coming back!

Went for early dinner at 5:30 and were seated immediately. We both ordered chicken fajitas. Were told chips and salsa would be an extra $3.50. The chips were store bought and served with about 1/2 cup of bland salsa. The fajitas were a pile of onions, some peppers, and 5 small 1/2 inch thick strips of unseasoned chicken. (Could have had a better meal at a fast food restaurant). We won't go back.

Appearance - good. The waiter was good however never saw the food. We were there for 2 and 1/2 half hours. After 1 1/2 we asked for the manager. She apologized and said the food would come right out on the house. One hour later and people that just got there were being served, we left. Disgusting service. Stay away. We should have listened.

Overall

Terrible. They start you with some warm water, and they charge for chips and salsa but they don't tell you (they offer it like it's free). They cheat you if you get a combo meal; it is the same price as for two separate meals but only enough food for one and a half people. Fajitas come with a tablespoon of cheese and wilted lettuce. Service was slowwwww.

1st time we came, we left after 20 minutes at our table without getting water, much less ordering or food. I decided to give the place another chance and the service is horrendous. Price is high compared to portions. It's really the awful service. My waitress said she's been a server for only 3 days and she didn't enjoy making people wait. Lol. 25 minutes to get queso and chips. I guarantee I'm never coming back.

Do NOT waste your money here. The food is overpriced, bland and came out cold. No free chips and salsa, the water had to be from the tap, no music - blah environment. Horrible service, food took forever to come out and once it did it came out on this metal cart that looked like it was meant to hang dish towels on...I seriously cannot think of one nice thing to say about this place. One thing I can say for sure is they better get their stuff together or they will be closing their doors before the 1st of the year. Taco Bell is far more satisfying than this place and that is sad!

Overall

Friendly staff, nice place. Food quality not good at all, first and last time I go to this place, there are a few other Mexican restaurants near by, I just wanted to give it a try. Chicken enchiladas without season and flavor, They don't and first Mexican restaurant that I go and no "free chips" seriously? Don't waste your money and time going to this place. Try Vallartas in Tampa Palms.

The service was good , the food did take a bit of time but understandable seeing how the restaraunt just opened. Tacos were tasty, very filling, didn't care much for the beans. I would say give it a few weeks and theyll be running how they should be.

Overall

I visited the recently opened senior ts. The service was wonderful and yes the food took a while to come out. However this place just opened this past weekend on a holiday weekend. You can't expect a place this massive to have all the kinks worked out in a 72hr period. So to all the people that sadly took the time out of their day to write a nasty review, have some patience. Thr food was amazing. You could tell that it was made from scratch. This place has a lot of potential and i think everyone should give it another try in a few weeks. Keep it up senior ts! Had a blast! Also the mariachi band was awesome!!

My wife and hat I just had lunch at singing Ortiz today. We first ordered the chips and salsa. The salsa was very good the chips were drenched in oil. Our entrées consisted of steak over salad and shrimp over salad. The salad was only iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes. And will not order that again. We will give it one more try.

We went for dinner on Saturday night. Arrived around 8:10. We were told there would be about a 20 min. wait for a table so we were surprised when we were seated within 4 minutes. We took a few minutes to look over the menu then ordered drinks and our meals. We were disappointed to learn that chips weren't served as they are in most Mexican restaurants. The menu prices were reasonable. Actually lower than I expected. The restaurant was very busy which is to be expected for a Saturday night. At the 45 minutes mark we were starting to wonder if we were going to get to eat. The server came by and apologized for the delay and offered chips and salsa which we accepted. By this time we were really hungry. Eventually it became a waiting game. We considered just leaving because we were tired and it was close to bed time. Not only that I have to stay on a schedule with my pain meds for injuries. After 1 1/2 hours we finally got the food. It looked good. The plates were full, fresh and hot. The server was very accommodating. She brought sour cream and guacamole which would normally be an extra charge. We both had combination platters. I had a beef taco, cheese enchilada, flautas, refried beans, and rice. My girlfriend had the chili relleno, and a couple other forgettable, regrettable items on her plate. The beef items were very greasy. Made with a high fat beef and the cook didn't drain the fat off after cooking the meat so it left a huge oil slick on our plates. They used regular cheddar cheese instead of the creamy Mexican cheese for the chili relleno and cheese enchilada so they were very disappointing. Some customers didn't stick around for the food. I don't blame them. I give this place six months. It's obvious they didn't put enough time and effort into training the cooks and perfecting the recipes before opening the doors. Not many people will return for a second visit if their experience is even close to what I experienced.

Place is cute, they didn't change much of the style of the original restaurant. Chips and salsa weren't free. The chips were store bought and stale. I had taco salad and hubby had fajitas. Both dishes and rice were so bland. Even the chicken on the fajitas was not seasoned. We will not be going back

Overall

The 4 Amigo Enchiladas was good! There is a good mix of spicy meats and less spicy meats as well as spinach cheese and patatoes in the 4 different enchiladas. The sauce was a normal cheese sauce, not a sour cream sauce. It was quite good. I will have this dish again. The Verde Soup, on the other hand, was a bit too spicy for me. Now, I habitually take about half of the jalapeño out of my food, so ymmv.

The true problem with the soup was I ordered a cup and was brought a bowl. When I pointed this out to my server she was apologetic but did not replace the bowl with a cup and I was changed a bowl. This, I think, is a first day shake out problem.

The decor is normal Americanized Spanish, scenes painted on the walls. The lighting needs a little work - I used the flashlight on my phone to read all of the descriptions in the menu. Again I think this will be worked out soon, first day (or week) shake out problem. The food is brought out on carts so there is none of the watching servers carry large trays with 5 dishes, waiting for the server to drop it. The carts didn't cause problem for patrons walking around the floor.

All in all this was a good lunch. I ordered the soup knowing that it would be a new dish to me - so I was not too upset that it was too spicy for me. The enchiladas were very very good, and I plan to have them again. When I go back later, after they've been open for a bit, I plan to go for dinner and try some of the intriguing looking tequilas.
