Great Bicycle Shop

The Great Bicycle Shop has "hands down" the best experience in regards to myself and my bike since I moved to Tallahassee in 2020. The employees are very relaxed and chill, but ensure that customer satisfaction is established. No matter what the case may be. For example, try it out, not satisfied then come back and let's talk.

Earlier this year, the shop did a full tune up on my 1999 Giant model. My bike has been essentially brand new with no issues. New tires, gears, brakes, etc.

I have not purchased a bike from their shop, but they are well stocked with many models. My personal favorite is Giant. Overall, I highly recommend this business; unfortunately I cannot go beyond 5 stars.

Poor quality (yet expensive) bikes with even worse customer support. The kids they hire have no sense of what it means or desire to provide good service after the initial purchase. Two stores with the newest one having inadequate tools to fix a bike and nothing but excuses as to why. Stay away from them.

Great Bicycle Shop is the best bike shop in Tallahassee! Any shop can hire knowledgeable people, but GBS has done that and added an element to bike-shop culture that has them dropping (cycling jargon for leaving others behind) all the rest: Friendliness!!!! I know it's a novel idea, that a bike shop w/ a knowledgeable staff should also be considerate and friendly. The very thought of assembling a team of associates like this is Everest-like. They have summited! Great Bicycle Shop is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, stocked w/ great bikes and accessories, and you will be treated w/ respect every time you walk in there. 5 out of 5!
