Subway

The Subway on Carroll Avenue is decent. The food is the same as any other subway. The atmosphere is always friendly and long lines are non-existent. The only bad thing is the service. There is usually only one worker on site and so if two people are ordering you have to wait for that customer to get all the way through his sandwich and checkout before you can get started on your own. The staff also have thick accents and so it is hard to understand what they are asking sometimes that is usually managable. One thing that is very upsetting is the lack of knowledge and attention level of the staff. Few of the staff knows how to prepare a BLT even though it is under the local favorites menu. I always have to explain or they go in the back to ask another worker. Also the workers chat a lot and I have had to ask them to hurry up a few times, this was especially frustrating when I was the only one in the store and the sandwhich took 30 seconds to prepare but I spent four minutes at the cash register. Good thing the sandwiches are so tasty.
