Provided by DexKnowsOh-boy! I will never bring my car ever again! I had my window fix to this shop. First of all, my car was in good shape before I brought it here. No check engine at all. When my windows was fixed, because the driver side of my car window won?t roll up. They had to fixed it for almost 3 weeks and they charge me good $400. For just one windows.I have great experiences when it comes to any vehicles, I was just too busy and didn?t have any time for it. That?s why I had them fixed it for me instead. When I came back for my car my windows were fixed. But my huge problem got worse. I got all these check engine in my car. When I got my car back. And I know my car well. They stole my transmission lug nuts and I have all these leaks under my car. They are only should be fixing my windows. Not get to under my hood snooping for parts. I was missing my volts on my transmission. I honestly don?t trust them. They are scammers. They should be sued

Provided by DexKnowsHawk is the most upfront fair shop in Western Washington.. When my Suzuki had been screwed up by another mechanic .who decided since I had cancer whats the difference Hawk worked with me when I was sick, got the car fixed and did it at a price I could afford. I had my car towed 45 miles to get to Hawk. The reason he is so busy is anyone decent that has dealt with him knows he is best. I've worked on my own cars for years, so I know when a guy is good.

Provided by DexKnowsThe facility have misdiagnose an simple automotive aircondition job by rushing it. I got charge 3 time, each time I came back because there in no cold air. Mechanic claims another part of the Aircondition line have a leak in it. In which the mechanic charged me for repair 3 time for the same problem no cold air but different parts. In the last to ditch the problem the owner had send me to the part store and by the part and have the vehicle diagnose by a different mechanic and some discount of 5% on the service in which the same problem.

Provided by DexKnowsDissapointed to read some negative reviews, we have always had terrific results. We refer people to Hak often, we havebeen taking our vehicles there since about 2000. The only reason I don't give "Hawks Japanese Auto" A 5 star rating is, it does take a long time, several days sometimes to have the repairs done.

Provided by DexKnowsTook in a Mitsubishi Eclipse to get failed head gasket fixed. First of all he made me buy the parts myself? Isn't it the shops job to provide parts? Sketchy...paid over 1500 to get the repair done and within 6 months the part failed again as well as caused my radiator to melt. The receipt specifically says all work is guaranteed for 6 months or 7500 miles both of which applied when the repair failed. Instead of correcting the problem, Hawk was very argumentative and resistant to standing behind his work. When i finally went to pick it up the whole repair wasnt even complete and i finally had enough so just took the car back after he made me sign a paper saying he was not liable for future damage..ARE YOU SERIOUS? This guys runs a joke of a business! Reading the other review below this seems to be a trend!

Provided by DexKnowsHawk, his wife, and his employees have cared for every car in our family and extended family and friends for over 15 years. He is honest, knowledgable, humble, and friendly. I will always recommend and go to him as long as I can. If you ever visit him, look at the thank you cards on his wall...there's so many that they won't all fit. Thank you Hawk for taking care of us and God bless :)

Provided by DexKnowsI took my 87 Toyota truck to Hawks Asian Auto repair some time ago for an engine rebuild. I had his shop do work for me before with outstand results at reasonable prices. However, the honeymoon was over when I returned for my truck and paid him almost $3K for the work, The engine lasted about 6-thousand miles, about 9 months. When I finally got thru to Hak Bae, he told me there was nothing he could do, my warranty (which I never received) had run out. It was apparent to me that my check had cleared, and he was no longer interested, unless of course I was willing to open up my wallet again.... I guess he thought I was crazy, and I guess I was to ever believe in him. There was a time when Hak Bae wore a tech coat and actually did much of the work, but since he has given up the coat for a business jacket, his only concern is if your check/credit card carries money into his pocket. Quality and integrity be damned. Never again.

Provided by DexKnowsAfter being scr**ed by Midas I took my car to Hawk to fix the breaks. Not only was he more resonably priced you could tell he cares about his customers. I will never take my car to another mechanic.

Provided by DexKnowsI have taken my car and my sons take all their cars to Hawk. He is honest and does a great job. He knows cars like the back of his hand and he is always willing to take a look when you have a problem. I would never take my cars to anyone else. The prices are extremely reasonable.

Provided by DexKnowsThis is my favorite place to take my car. I have never been to a more honest and integretous business. Hawk is reasonably priced and won't charge you for unnecessary things. I have taken my cars here over and over and I am always so impressed with the quality of work done on my car (and the price!).
