Management will do nothing about smoke drifting into non-smoker's units. We were not informed of our building being a "smoker" building when applying to live here. It wasn't until several months after moving in and living here that we found ourselves stuck in 90+ degree weather without air conditioning forced to either suffer the heat or have our children endure the effects of second hand smoke from our chain smoking neighbors. After sending a letter to management, we were informed there was one non-smoking building with one unit available on the bottom floor. The unit reeked of urine, offered one less bathroom, and at little rent reduction with the risk of losing our deposit and receiving an early lease termination fee. All in all, the rent is too high, there are no amenities, the appliances frequently break down, and the management/owners are not interested in doing the right thing.
