Holy Cross Church on Armstrong Road welcomes everybody. It was founded by people of Polish descent, but everyone is welcome. This is a friendly church that nurtures spiritual needs. The services are beautiful. Come and visit. You will be heartened and you will return again and again.

The church is very unfriendly stuck in the 1890's.

The church is not welcoming at all! The church is almost 100% polish immigrants decendents and they do not look favorably on other denominations like Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, and the rest of the others. Their church logo is a open bible with a partial green wreath under it with a red ribbon below that saying " Truth, Struggle, Work" making it appear if the church belongs to the communist party of america. There is no Sunday School program because there are no children that go to the church. If there is a family with children that been to church for a year or two they leave for church with a sunday school program. When they say they are wonderful and caring. They are wonderful and caring to you face but if you are not polish and you think the church needs to move forward and not backward with thier immigrant backgrounds. Also, DO NOT help at their dinners the one who runs the dinners is a tyrant and he blames everybody else for his mistakes so again do not volunteer for dinners. Oh yeah, the average age of that church is about 65, so don't think about meeting young singles there because there is like one or two of them there. So in other words in closing it is not a wonderful welcoming church, it is far from it.

The church is welcoming to people of polish descent and polish descent only. If you are of Dutch, German, Spanish, Russian or any other national background you're not welcomed. They are not will to listen to new ideas. They are a dying church. So if you are looking for a new church look elsewhere.

A Very Sweet Small Traditional Catholic Church but different from Roman Catholic in that with National Catholic the priests are allowed to marry. The congregation is caring of one another and the community.
