Bad service deducts from 5 star beauty. Do not use the director services. That was the rip off of the day. Aside from practically no direction, director added a chair to the front row and "directed" an unauthorized change in seating to what bride and mother of the bride specified at the rehearsal. We were unaware until the wedding started and the seating faux pas has caused a family issue. Director was nowhere to be found when some of our vendors arrived. An extra table was set than number in our director-provided layout, leaving us a centerpiece issue. Tent lights were "blown" according to the venue management and did not all come on for our evening reception. Venue management did not inform of us of MAJOR liquor license change until 3 WEEKS before the wedding. Of course, we already were contracted with a caterer for alcohol. Director "forgot" to place item on the table that was part of the ceremony and on and on. Efforts to call and ask to speak to the director's boss have failed. I keep getting connected right to the director, even if I just call and ask for her boss's name!!!! That was almost a whole other star deduction, but venue is so very undeniably beautiful.
