R & F International Muffler & Brake

I would not bring anything more complicated than a wagon for these guys to fix. After three attempts to fix our car and $500 for repairs that were not needed the problem remained unrepaired. The only reason we let him try the third time because he said "I am a man of my word. if this repair does not fix the problem I will not charge you". Well it did not fix the car and had the same problem. He insisted on his money before we left, did not give use a written receipt and would not honor his promise to refund the money paid if the problem was not resolved. Besides the car sat one month at his shop, and he replaced a part that wasn't even the one he said he was going to replace. During that time our bumper and hood were damaged and he called us a liar for blaming his men. Do not be fooled by the claim there is a new owner and the name change. They are the same careless, incompetent buffoons that have been there all along. I give them absolutely no stars.

I am only giving any stars to show that i didn't forget the stars, but the truth is they are negative stars. In August they agreed to replace the motor on my stepdaughters truck. Since it seemed cheaper to fix than to buy a new car we decided to go that route. My first clue was he wanted money up front.. After many arguments, more than a month of him saying what a problem the car is to fix, two up front charges of more than 2k, and lots of BS he SAYS the car is done and charged another 1k. More than a month later.She requests a receipt, does not get it.. we had requested a receipt did not get it.. and within two weeks the car is smoking again.. She asks other mechanics, he screwed up the job... she goes back only to get berated... This guy needs to be put out of business and thrown in jail. We have disputed the charge and contacted the better business bureau.. Wish we had read these reviews first.. Obviously the people who wrote the 5 star reviews must work there or no them.. no way this guy has a clue what to do or how to treat customers.

I went to get an exugst system put on my car I went to Meinecke to get a quote they were rude and crzy with there price they charged me 1000 I then went to international muffler and they were great all around price was just were I wanted it and as for the owner I actually seen him fight for a customer great place I will recommend international to any one

We have been going the R&F International Muffler and Brake for over 2 years. Before this time we had not found a garage that we felt were honest and fair. We have two cars that we would like to keep on the road and safe to drive for as many more years as possible, have full faiith in R&F that they will! The owners have great customer service skills and the mechanics get the job done quick and right (the first time). The prices are the best in the Poconos. We highly recommend R&F International Muffler and Brake.

I went back to this shop after hearing there were new owners. The service and pricing is fantastic. No worries of getting ripped off at this repair shop. I got what I needed done and no extra "surprise repairs" tacked on to my bill. The new owners are delightful and curtious.
