The Parks Department is a part of the Public Works Department, which is governed by the Town of Stratford in Connecticut. The Parks Department works for the maintenance of facilities, fields, playgrounds and beaches. It is responsible for the removal of dead trees and the planting of replacement trees. The department offers litter pickup, garbage removal, mowing, ball field marking and grooming services. The Parks Department also operates football, baseball, softball and soccer teams.
