The Flower Center

I don't like going to any other flower shop but this one. All I buy are roses, and I get them from here for an amazing price. The staff are always friendly and nice and make you feel welcome. They are always stocked

I attended a Memorial Service for a friend and had an opportunity to see the flower arrangement. I was very impressed with the arrangement and the freshness of the flowers. The same could not be said for a number of other arrangements in the funeral home from other florists!

We ordered flowers from out of state many times, and visited the location several times when we were in town. The flowers in the past, were nice but pricey, and delivered on time. The last time we ordered from them was Christmas 2010. We arrived in town in time to see the flowers that they delivered to Mom. The arrangement was very small and sparse, in a poor basket, poor quality, and charged over 100.00, and much different than from the previous years. I took the Christmas arrangement back to them to ask if that arrangement was theirs and proper. A young lady that I had not seen before said yes. I asked if I could talk to the manager about the flowers and she said no, I could talk to her, manager not available. I asked her to let me know when the manager would be there and she repeated that I could talk to her, and her statement was that that was the arrangement, and that was the price. I left her with the flower basket and asked if they would contact me. It has not happened. Since then I have ordered from other florists in the area with satisfaction, and will continue doing so. While the young lady was unfamiliar with dealing with a customer complaint, the owner/manager should have contacted me but did not. Since I had made contact with my complaint by phone first, and then in person, I think that I spent enough of my time trying to make my problem known. It is now time for me to order Mom's birthday flowers again, and it will not be from The Flower Center. I would probably have rated them 4 starts for previous work, since I only have the comments that Mom made about the arrangements. I since dealt with a florest that emailed me a picture of what they sent when they confirmed the order, and they put out a very nice product. I don't want to rate them real low because I think this was most probably something that could have been corrected with better communication.

I have stopped into the Flower Center several times. The staff is always helpful and never hovers. The flowers are a little pricey, but they last a lot longer than flowers I have bought at other stores.
