The Staunton-Augusta Family YMCA, established in 1874, is a nonprofit organization located in Staunton, Va. The organization s physical education program includes fun group activities and fitness programs. It organizes movie and pizza nights and pool and ping-pong tournaments. The Staunton-Augusta Family YMCA supports several recreational sports, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and swimming. In addition, the organization provides Nordic walking and gymnastics programs. Its summer camps organize arts and crafts classes, field games and trips. The Staunton-Augusta Family YMCA offers an after-school child care program that serves children of all ages through its age-appropriate curriculum. The organization is an authorized dealer of Polar and Exel products.
