A Connecticut native, Dr. Gettler graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Redding before earning his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He returned to his home state for medical school, earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. Dr. Gettler completed his dermatology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Gettler opened Advanced Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology in 2006 to provide dermatology services to the greater Stamford community, including Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and beyond.
