Rudy's Smokehouse

Stopped by Rudy's Sunday evening after the hotel attendant recommended the restaurant. The food was excellent and staff was very friendly. I ordered the 1/2 Slab and Brisket Combe with Collard Greens and Corn Bread. Initially it felt like a high price but they also give you a LOT of food. Definitely can share the sides.

I agree the staff are rude and act inconvenienced by customers. The food is excellent, especially the beef brisket. I used to use them to cater large events at my work until one evening we called to place an order for our family. The employee stated they were closing in 15 minutes so they refused our carry-out order. A lesson to employees-- that little last minute order ended up costing the business about $900 in yearly catering business. It is a shame because the food is so good and I believe the owner and management are better than that. The manager has always been great and very accommodating. I have noticed that the evening crew are in a hurry to leave and rush late customers.

Their service is ridiculously rude however their food is awesome. If you can deal with the bad attitude of their staff then it may be a nice place to eat....
