Overall

I do not understand the reviews below, Me and my entire family eat there and have for many years. the food is GREAT always hot and fresh! I drive clear across town to get their cashew chicken "trust me" there is none better! Their crab ragoon is great too. WE have tried most of places to try their cashew chicken and ALWAYS have to go back to THE HON KONG INN!!!! RitaM.

Overall

Picked up take away from Hong Kong Inn Restaurant and I disappointed in the meal. It appears to have been over cooked. Told them via phone and asking for a new one. 10 minutes. Drove all the way (around 10 minutes) to them but wait 15 minutes there (even just couple seat-in)!!!

awful… worst food ever

If I had the choice. To give them no stars I wouldn't have given them the one… the food was awful, not to mention they didn't even get our orders right and it had absolutely no flavor what so ever, I had ordered carry out the said 5/10 minutes we got there in about 15 and they hadn't even started to make the order… . its fair enough to say I wouldn't recommend this place to feed your dog (mine wouldn't eat it) stay away!!!

I went to Hong Kong Inn on N. Glenstone like I have two or three times a month for probably 15 years. For the first time ever, they served me food that was waaaay past expiration. I took three bites of the soggy disgusting chicken, attempted to eat one chewy wonton and took one bite of the grossest eggroll I've ever tasted. I went back and politely said with a smile and even in an unwarranted apologetic tone that in 15 years this has never happened, but the food was old and I'd like a replacement. The imbecile at the counter snatched the container out of my hand with a snarl on his face. Then the ridiculous manager comes up and rudely asks me, "What's your problem?!" I remained polite and explained to her what had happened. She comes back with, "We are very busy, we cook food the same way always and this food has been eaten!" I responded with, what I had eaten and then astonished I said, "You're really going to treat a regular customer of 15 years like this over $1.50?" To which she responds, "It doesn't matter how many years you come here...I give you a few pieces of chicken!" I said forget it and I won't be back. And I let her know I would be blasting this all over social media and anywhere else I could find.

worst experience at restaurant ever

First Thing They Forgot Half Of Our Food And We Live AT Least 8 Miles Away. So We Got He And Had To Turn Around And Go Back. sSo All Of Our Food At That Point Is Cold By The Time We Get Back There. We Don't Get An Apology He Said It Happens And He Won't Replace The Cold Food. And So Rude If I May Add. I Could Have Drive To Republic To Diamond Head And Got What I Ordered There For Almost 12 Dollars Less And More Food. And Would Have Had Way Better Food. The Food Was Horrible Compared To Any Other Chinese In Springfield.
