Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First they tried to set us at a table that was too closed in by other customers. And they were not that busy. We move ourselves to another location. The bacon was as hard as a rock. The french toast was cold and not cooked well. The butter straight out of freezer. Hard butter does not melt when the food is barely warm. Will not be returning for breakfast again. We have eaten there numerous times and breakfast always leaves a lot to be desired.

I travel a lot for the railroad. So I am always looking for a good meal to satisfy my hunger. Today it was the cracker barrel. I have to say that I am unsure if I want try it again. I orderd chicken fried, mac and cheese,Idaho fries and okra to go. When I got back to my room to enjoy my hot meal , I was disappointed when I opened my container. Literally this is what they gave me, 16 tries, 9 pieces of okra, a small container of mac and cheese that was the size for a child I am a grown man 230 pounds. My chicken fried steak was small. No big deal I am hungry. I took a bite of my fries (omg) they are cold, took a bite of my okra (omg) they are cold, well the only thing I have left to try is the mac and cheese and chicken fried steak. Well wouldn't you know they are cold as well. Well I am just disappointed now. However I just realized that I just spent $12.42 cents on a kids meal. Thanks cracker barrel

Great hot food at a great price! Recently we traveled to Springfield, Mo. Service, seating, atmosphere and quality were all wrapped up in this location. Restrooms were clean and gift products were plentiful to choose from.
