Animal Health Center Hospital & Clinic

We drive from south side of Nixa to go to this Vet he and his staff is by far 10 times better then any Vet we have tried close to us. We found Dr. Reid when we lived on the Northside of Springfield, MO about 8 years ago. After not being able to find a Vet we liked that met or pets needs and our expectations we continue to find our selves driving over 45 minutes to get to Dr. Reid's office.

Well Dr. Reid never recommended blood work for our 12 year old chihuahua and she became very sick so we took her to the downtown emergency vet where they said she was diabetic and had a mass around her bladder so we had to euthanize her and Dr. Reid never does what docters should since he never recommended blood work and it’s basically if you have problems with your pet he will prescribe something but won’t do any more research

My 8 year old cat Casper was having problems with his hips and back from arthritis inflammation and spurs on his spine. Dr Reid suggested using laser treatment and glucosamine injections. After 4 sessions of laser Casper is running and playing which he was unable to do prior to laser. It is unbelievable and we are blessed to have Dr. Reid taking care of our pets!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a CRAZY Place in a GOOD way. Dogs, cats, everywhere but the staff was calm, personable, efficient and very good together. Dr. Mike prescribed what appears to be a terrific solution to LaKia's problem and we both slept last night for the first night this allergy season. Thank you so much for your help and leaving me with some cash when we were done. (very reasonable charges)

Dr. Reid cared for our total of six pets over 15 years. They always received excellent care. The facilities are very nice, the staff is always pleasant and helpful and the charges were very reasonable. Recently moving 300 miles away has made changing vets necessary, but not without first trying to figure out some way we could still take them to Dr. Reid.

Dr. Reid told me that my dog had an ingrown tail, unlike another vet who said it was a problem with the glands. He removed 3.5 inches of tail growing within at a very reasonable price. My dog has stopped itching her face every day, and she has stopped rubbing her behind every day as well. I will not take my dog to any other vet in Springfield than Dr. Reid.

I have been taking my animals to Dr Reid for almost 10 years. Very nice and clean facility! He has come in at 8 o'clock in the evening for emergencies and the prices are the most reasonable!

When we couldn't get our little dog in to see our regular vet when she hurt herself, I prayed for a good, compassionate, caring and reasonably priced hospital or clinic. Animal Health center hospital & clinic was the answer. Everything that has been said it true.

Dr. Ried is thourough and compassionate. He has a modern office with up to date equipment but does not hesitate to recommend a specialist, and continues to progress in his field. His assistants are well trained and kind to their charges. They have room for long walks on a very patient leash. Madison has been with Dr. Ried for six years and had the best of care. She loves the staff dearly and is always ready to go for a visit.

I took my cat Emmy here after getting him fixed at the Humane Society. They were very nice and explained everything to me. I was a little scared to leave my furbaby there all day but they made me feel comfortable and I knew that he would be in good hands. I have taken a couple of my other furbabies and getting ready to take another. i love the staff and how they make it feel as even though they have alot of animals to see yours is as special as you think they are every time!

Can't say enough good things about this place and Dr Reid! My boxer had extreme back pain and couldn't do all the things a normal 1 year old dog should be able to do. After an examination and a few x-rays, Dr. Reid diagnosed the spinal problem that was so painful to my dog. He suggested laser treatment for Csonka which I agreed to. WOW, he was 100% better within 1-2 days. We went on to get six total treatments and he is good as new! As far as everything else, it has been nothing but pleasant professional experiences. Well, getting neutered wasn't Csonka's favorite experence :). Rates seem to be very fair! I'd pay more but don't tell them that :)

They care about all pets no matter what shape & size!!! In my opinion, he's the best veternarian around!!!!!!!

My family has always treated our pets as a member of our family. I've been an pet owner my entire life. I have searched for years for a clinic that would show as much love for my pets as I do. This clinic hands down beats any & all of Springfield's vet clinics. You will not find a veternarian around that shows more compassion with as much knowledge than Dr. Reid !!! In addition to all of this, their pricing is the most feasable around. What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

He understands what pet owners go through when a pet is sick or injured. He is a very compassionate man with a good heart.
